Kept by Marco, who, with the help of his wife Sabrina, has given a very special touch to his work. Credited as A.I.S. (Italian Sommelier Association) sommelier, he loves organizing original tasting events. The passion for wine and for good matching takes the form in ‘ad hoc’ evenings, where the sommelier brings the hidden taste in wines, teaching as a present to bring out different scents from the glass with small circular movements, to observe the structure of the beverage in according to the small arches that are made in the glass.
Today:
During the day News Cafè Wine Bar welcomes tourists visiting Florence and San Lorenzo and florentines as well, for breakfast, coffee breaks and lunch time. In the evening, however, the atmosphere changes: fresh fruit decorated cocktails, wines and a wide selection of seafood is only part of the happy hour time.
Daily from 19, it is made up of a buffet of Tuscan products accompanied by selected wines for tasting. Every Friday the buffet is seafood.
