Memorial complex “Adem Jashari”

These images, are the resistance of the Jashari family made on 5th, 6th and 7th march of 1998 against the Serbian occupier.
This is the place where 59 members of the Jashari family lost their lives in 1998-99 war, defending and believing in the future of our country.
Their heroic fall raised the spirit of thousands others Albanians to start the defense against Serbian occupier, to protect their home which now is the independent state of Kosovo
Mosque & church
Location: Ferizaj
A symbol of religious tolerance in our country. The two objects are built and operate within the same yard. A very rare phenomenon.
The harmony of people with a diversity of religions in Kosovo is best described with this image from the down town city of Ferizaj.
Both the Church and the Mosque are built on the XIX century and they are built in the same yard with meters away from each other.
The priest and the imam visit each other’s houses of god and respect each other’s beliefs.
This occurrence is very rare not in our continent but throughout the world and every new visitor in Ferizaj is amazed by the view and the harmony that these two objects reflect to the others.

A tradition that was inherited for centuries in Kosovo. “Filigran“ is known for its handmade decorations with gold and silver.

Marash Maple
Location: Prizren
“Rrapi i Marashit” belongs to the XIV-XV century, he became a shelter for different types of poultry.
“It is special because it is believed that this is one of the oldest tree in Kosovo. “Rrapi” it is not planted as seedlings are usually are meant to plant.
Even in winter its top part stays black and it doesn’t foliate. This is a proof that this tree it is not planted by humans but “divinely” planted.” A citizen from Prizren says that he has met a lot of international tourists that are wondered by this tree.
Marble Cave
Location: Lipjan
The Marble Cave is located in Lipjan, it is 1500m long. This cave was discovered by a villager named Ahmet Asllani, it is believed that this cave is 80,000 years old. Besides the beautiful shapes that this cave has created in thousands years, has also attracted a lot of tourists which are amazed by the view and can experience to see a lake inside a cave. A unique taste for a cave.
