The Life Beyond Tourism Travel to Dialogue Movement gave its support to the first edition of the Chinese Film Festival “Fán Huā” which took place in Florence, at the Cinema La Compagnia from 14 to 17 October 2021. The review told about China through its landscapes, its people, its traditions, its history. A journey through the culture of a country rich in culture to discover and get to know.
The event was organized by Zhong Art International with the artistic advice of film critic Paolo Bertolin and saw a film review of Chinese cinema with some thematic events:
- Women’s gazes, Thursday 14 October
- On the slopes of the Himalayas, Friday 15 October
- The emerging talents, Saturday 16 October
- New heroes from Chinese screens, Sunday 17 October
The Festival takes its name Fán Huā which literally means “variety of blooming flowers” and refers to Chinese cinematography which is developing with a varied production of works.
