Project Description
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the opening of the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic for Tuscany, we were commissioned to design a narrative itinerary aimed at presenting the Czech Republic in a new light. The project sought to highlight the cultural richness of the country and its renewed central role in Europe after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Through this initiative, the 13 districts of the Czech Republic became the first international Luoghi Parlanti (“Talking Places”): territories narrated from the perspective of their local communities, offering an authentic and shared representation of their identity.
The itinerary contributed significantly to strengthening the sense of belonging and awareness of cultural heritage, while also increasing the visibility of the featured regions. Moreover, it encouraged institutions to recognize heritage as an active resource for dialogue, participation, and sustainable development.
