Project Description
We organized a 10-day intensive course on ceramic creation, decoration, and restoration techniques for six Arab ceramic artisans.
To provide an outstanding learning experience, we selected the best master artisans in the Florentine area, allowing participants to deepen their knowledge of Tuscan ceramic traditions and discover new techniques to apply to their craft.
The course was primarily hands-on, with theoretical insights and historical references, and included:
- Immersive workshops with master ceramicists.
- Visits to renowned Tuscan ceramic institutions, such as Ginori 1735, Bitossi, and the Montelupo Ceramic Museum.
- Comprehensive assistance, including hotel accommodation, transportation, and full support throughout the program.
- At the end of the residency, participants took home their handcrafted works, enriching their expertise with new skills and inspiration.
