Project Description
Cultural Storytelling sessions have been a defining feature of multiple editions of The World in Florence, giving student groups from all over the world the opportunity to narrate their local heritage in new and creative ways.
For the students, it represented a valuable hands-on experience to deepen cultural knowledge, explore tourism-related dynamics, apply web communication techniques, and build confidence in public speaking—presenting in front of an international audience.
For universities, it offered a cross-disciplinary and international learning opportunity for their students, culminating in a final showcase held in Florence. All student projects, developed under academic supervision, have been published on www.luoghiparlanti.it.
To date, student teams from every continent have participated in the Cultural Storytelling experience.
