Life Beyond Tourism® wins the StregArti award

On February 3, 2018, in Benevento, the Life Beyond Tourism® Movement was awarded in the person of Paolo Del Bianco, president of the Fondazione Romualdo Del Bianco® of Florence, at the conclusion of the event “StregArti. Arco di Traiano Prize “, organized by the Proloco Samnium of Benevento and by the municipality.

The award was presented to Paolo Del Bianco, for the tourism section, by the mayor of Benevento Clemente Mastella, in the presence of a large audience that included the artistic director Eraldo Vinciguerra and Antonio Lombardi, president of the Unpli provincial committee (Unione dei Pro Loco) of Benevento. Paolo Del Bianco, during his speech, presented the various facets of the Life Beyond Tourism® Movement, born in Florence from the pluriventennial research of the Fondazione Romualdo Del Bianco® and developed from theory to practice in a Model that can potentially be applied worldwide in the various UNESCO Sites. Life Beyond Tourism® foresees the diffusion of a new idea of ”journey for dialogue”, in which all the operators of the tourism sector, as well as the residents and travelers themselves, can contribute to create dialogue between different cultures, in peaceful coexistence.

Every year the Fondazione Romualdo Del Bianco® organizes in Florence, in March, a General Assembly attended by experts from all over the world, from universities and important international institutions (such as UNESCO, ICOMOS, ICCROM). At the end of his speech, Paolo Del Bianco invited Antonio Lombardi, together with the Proloco Samnium, to participate in the twentieth edition of the event, which will be held on March 3 and 4, at the Auditorium al Duomo.
